Aji Charapita Hot Pepper Seeds, Non-GMO (25+ Seeds)
Aji Charapita (Capsicum chinense) is a rare and highly prized pepper native to the northern Peruvian jungle. Known for its small, round, tepin-like fruits—measuring about ¼ inch—this bushy plant produces an abundant harvest of vibrant, aromatic peppers.
Renowned for its bright, fruity, and citrus-like flavor, Aji Charapita delivers a heat level comparable to cayenne peppers while offering a uniquely tropical profile. Often referred to as the “Mother of All Chilies,” this variety is highly sought after and can be difficult to find outside of Peru.
Traditionally used fresh, these tiny peppers add a bold, fruity depth to salsas and sauces. They are also commonly dried and ground into a flavorful powder for a variety of dishes. In Peru, Aji Charapita is often grown as a household plant, allowing for convenient, fresh harvesting right from the kitchen
