Pink Guava also known as Psidium Guajava, a tropical fruit tree, is an evergreen with shedding bark and produces fragrant flowers. You do not need a lot of space for your guava tree. These trees can be single or multi-trunked and reach 15 feet in height and width. 

The Pink guavas flesh is sweet, dense and pink. They are the most aromatic and can range from pale pink to deep orange-magenta. Their color is due to a naturally occurring organic pigment called carotenoid, the same compound that gives carrots and tomatoes their distinct red color. Great for jelly or jam and can be juiced for use in smoothies or drinks. The delicious fruit also produces a ton of antioxidants and nutrients. 

Guava trees generally begin fruit production 3 to 4 years after planting and yields range from 50 to 80 lbs (23–36 kg) or more per tree per year. In Florida, guava may produce two crops per year; the main crop during summer followed by another smaller crop during early spring. However, through simple pruning techniques fruit may be produced nearly year-round.
